Fabian Schüssler

Group leader · IRFU, CEA Paris-Saclay

Fabian leads the group’s work on real-time multi-messenger astrophysics with H.E.S.S., CTAO and SVOM, and the development of Astro-COLIBRI. He is PI of the ANR project MOTS. More in his CV and background.

Ilja Jaroschewski

Postdoctoral researcher (since 2024)

Ilja joined the group in autumn 2024 funded via the ACME project. He is involved in the development and maintenance of Astro-COLIBRI and conducts research about multimessenger emissions from binary black holes and transients detected with VHE gamma-ray instruments.

Portrait of Bernardo Cornejo

Bernardo Cornejo

Master internship (2024) + PhD student (since 2024)

Bernardo joined the group preparing his Masters degree at the Sorbonne University within the program “Noyaux, Particules, Astroparticules, Cosmologie” (NPAC). He searched for very-high-energy gamma rays associated to mergers of compact objects detected via gravitational waves.
Bernardo is now working as a PhD student on similar topics. He is analyzing data recorded by H.E.S.S. and CTA/LST-1 in searches for VHE gamma rays associated to a variety of transient and often multi-messenger phenomena.

Weizmann Kiendrébéogo

Postdoc (since 2025)

Weizmann joined the group in early 2025 funded by the ANR “MOTS” project. He will be working on the development of Astro-COLIBRI, Tilepy and M4Opt, as well as population studies of gravitational waves sources.

Antoine Ciric

Master alternance (2025-2027)

Antoine joined the group end of 2025. He is alternating between his Master studies at Sup de Vinci and hands-on experience with the development of Astro-COLIBRI.

Portrait of Sofia Bisero

Sofia Bisero

Postdoc (since 2025)

Sofia joined the group in late 2025 funded via the ACME project. She is involved in the development and maintenance of Astro-COLIBRI and leads research of time domain and multimessenger phenomena with the SVOM, H.E.S.S. and future WST observatories.
